FRIENDS OF THE WILLIAM MORRIS GALLERY

The Gallery’s FRIENDS association (U.K. Registered Charity No. 800513) was founded in 1988 and plays an important part in promoting its collections and activities:

	by helping to finance exhibitions, publications and development projects
	by raising funds for the purchase of new acquisitions
	by maintaining an international exchange of information about Morris and his continuing influence

Members receive the quarterly Friends’ Newsletter, with news of exhibitions, acquisitions, lectures and events at the Gallery and elsewhere and details of the latest publications on Morris and his circle. A programme of Visits to houses, churches etc. connected with Morris or decorated by Morris and Co. or by members of the Arts & Crafts Movement is organised throughout the year. There are Private Views of Gallery exhibitions and Social Events such as the annual Christmas party.
